ERNST & YOUNG CORPORATE FINANCE, WARSAW - Senior
Involved in the execution of a variety of projects, including: advisory assignment to Enterprise Investors in the EUR 10 million sale of Bauma, Poland’s leading supplier of formworks systems listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, to a Spanish strategic investor; sale of the LIM Center, a hotel/office/retail complex in Warsaw, and sale of LIM Joint Venture, manager of the property; advisory assignment to a leading manufacturer of sporting goods in Poland in an attempt to acquire a German competitor; advisory assignment to a leading Polish IT company in an attempt to acquire a specialized Russian IT company; joint venture advisory assignment to Advent International in an exit from a media company; joint venture advisory assignment to APAX Partners in an attempt to acquire a leading Polish media company; divestment of Fomar Roulunds, AP Moller Group’s brake pads manufacturing operations in Poland; market entry advisory assignment to Gedesco, a Spanish producer of frozen ready-to-eat meals; advisory assignment to Cefetra on the purchase of the Baltic Grain Terminal; market entry advisory to Mitsui Babcock, a UK company providing engineering services to energy and industry sectors; sale of Sawa Apartments, a local Warsaw developer of residential real estate; transaction advisory assignment to the owners of a leading, independent advertising agency in Poland. Key member of team preparing privatization analyses of Elektrownia Rybnik (coal power plant with capacity of 1760 MWe, the largest power plant in the Upper silesia region); prepared valuation of the G-8 Group, eight state-owned energy distributors from northern Poland supplying energy to 2.6 million customers and holding 16% of the Polish electricity distribution market. Member of the team working for the State Treasury in the privatization of the G-8 Group.
Involved in a variety of market research projects (e.g. media and pharmaceuticals sectors).
